gave the blessings of immortality or 'mukti' to a demon He killed.
Mukteshwar was noticed by Jim Corbett,
the famous tiger hunter who fell in love with this beautiful mountain hamlet.
The town is unexplored home of apples, plum, peach and apricot trees.
